So today on my drive home, I was sweatin bullets and I didn't know why b/c it wasn't hot outside at all. And then all of a sudden I looked down to see my heated seat on HIGH! Guess I was having what my friend Candace calls a "Candace moment!" Oh BLESS!

Rainy Days

So yesterday on such a rainy, nasty day, as Timmy and I were flipping channels on tv , we stopped on VH1 to check out RuPaul's Drag race! Now I know what you are thinking...are you serious??? You actually watched it? Yes WE did and enjoyed it very much! I have never laughed so hard in my life! I not only enjoyed the makeup, but enjoyed all the "girls" on there as well! Drag queens have always fascinated me. Say what you want but being an Ex-MAC artist, nothing surprises me and it really is artistic. It's scary to see some of them looking better than us real women! If you are up for a learning experience and some good entertainment, I say check it out!

As RuPaul says at the end of every show..."If you can't love yourself, how you gonna love somebody else!"

OCD

Ok...so i'm sure anyone that has looked at my blog lately, has noticed that it is constantly changing. That is because i'm Obsessive Compulsive about it right now! I am determined to learn how to make my own headers, etc...So while I loved the header that Shelly made for me, I have finally made one of my own that I am proud of, so I have now changed my blog again! Hopefully it will stay like this for awhile but knowing me, i'll get bored soon.

Date night with Nicholas

Tonight I decided that Nicholas and I needed some"bonus" mom and "bonus" son time, so we to went to see the movie Monsters vs. Aliens: 3D. He was so excited to be going and laughed throughout the entire movie. He was soo cute! It was funny but not the best animated movie that I have seen, however the 3D was pretty cool. I didn't know that it would be so much more than a regular movie! It was outright ridiculous! Worth it though for Nick. His sister was with their mom for some mother/daughter time and he's been feeling pretty down on himself lately so I figured it was the perfect time to do something for just him and let him know that he is loved! We had alot of fun and look forward to our next date. They gave us these really cool glasses but had a recycle bin next to the door to put them in...what?!!! You mean that you want to me to return the glasses after I just spent $23 for two people?! I think not...I paid for them...i'm keeping them!!!!

A night without the kids!

My step-mom volunteered to watch Preston for us tonight so that we could go on a date! I was beginning to forget what those felt like. We went to dinner and a movie--we saw the movie Taken. Loved it! And let me tell you how nice it was to be able to eat with both hands for a change! :) Here is little man with "Nana"

So Mom pretty much rocks today!

This is Ariel about as excited as they come that Gaga showed up with the Twilight movie for us! She got it at Target and it has 3 dvd's in it! Nick was funny when Ariel asked why there were 3, he said..."Incase you lose one!" Funny kid! Anywho..we're pretty much the happiest family right now! Gotta go now....Movie is starting! :)

Happy 5 Months old!

Where has the time gone? My little man is 5 months and looks like a linebacker! Boy is SOLID! He does something new everyday and i'm so thankful that he waits until I come home! That was my biggest fear...that I would miss everything since I had to go back to work but he must know to wait! Even if he doesn't sleep the whole night, he always wakes up smiling! What a way to start my day! This morning, after his bath I went to get him dressed and I sat him there, close by of course, and he just sat there all by himself! He still is wobbly though but getting there!

I love his expression here! Almost like he doesn't believe what I am saying! (see daddy for support!)

Our Pretty Princess

I came home today to find this sweet letter from Ariel sitting on the kitchen table. She is always so loving and thoughtful. I love her so much and will forever cherish such sweet sentiments!

This was taped to the bottom of the letter. How cute that she wanted to include her baby brother!

He is my lucky charm that's for sure!!! Mom took these pictures of him today at her house! Since the kids are with their Mom this week, I didn't get to take any pictures of them this morning but they wish you a Happy St. Patricks day as well!

Let me explain this the best way I know how. About 2 1/2 years ago right when I met Timmy, he had some family drama going on where his Aunt tried to accuse everyone in his family of beating up her son who was 15 at the time. WHICH THEY DIDN'T! The story gets more complicated but this is just the condensed version! Well this weekend we found out that after all this time of thinking that the stupid, ridiculous case had been dropped, it in fact has not been b/c a member of Timmy's family was arrested after being pulled over for speeding b/c there was apparently a warrant out for his arrest. Well come to find out that there are several other people in Timmy's family that also have warrants...here's the kicker....NICHOLAS IS ONE OF THEM! ARE THEY FOR REAL?!!! He was 5 years old at the time! So now my sweet boy has a record at the age of 7 for doing NOTHING! Seems like Richland County needs something better to do! These people have really just about made me lose it today! And they can only go by what was reported to them! NO EVIDENCE OR ANYTHING! Bunch of losers!!!!! We need to sue in behalf of Nicholas for trauma! Poor kid is gonna have anxiety attacks now everytime he hears a police siren! Definately gives new meaning to..."IF YOU DON'T START BEHAVING, WE ARE GONNA CALL THE POLICE ON YOU!"

Dirty Dancing

So I was upstairs trying to get Preston to sleep just flipping through the channels when I stumbled upon the movie Dirty Dancing. What can I say...I have seen it so many times, that I have lost count already! It brings back lots of old memories from when it first came out and my mom used to take us to see it. She will kill me i'm sure b/c I never realized how inappropriate it was for kids until today but still such a great movie! I always laugh really hard at the end when Patrick Swayze jumps off the stage b/c my brother Jimmy had an obsession for such a long time after that and he would jump off everthing and boogy down! Bless him!

Forget baby food, he's going for the BIG stuff!!!!

The other night at dinner, Preston decided that he wanted to try it out himself! Thanks to our quick hands, we avoided noodles all over the place!

Nicholas has this habit of putting his clothes on backwards and I couldn't figure out where he got it from until I came home today and saw this!!!!!!!!!!!!! My stomach hurts so bad from laughing!!!! BLESS HIM!!!!!!

The child LOVES the sun!

Preston is obsessed with the sun in his Baby Einstein exersaucer! He just can't get enough...and the frog on the other side of him...well let's just say that they have a love/hate relationship! He loves to play with it but gets really mad after a few minutes! I think it's b/c he can't get the frog into his mouth but it's so funny to see him start fighting it! He did recently figure out though that if he sits in the middle of the frog and the sun, that he can play with both at the same time. Just the other day he started sucking on the sun and then turns his head to the right and looks at the frog for a minute and then gives it a good smack! I tell ya what...he is going to give me a run for my money! Wish me luck!!!! :)

Makeup blog

I DO have rules about the Wii!

Before we bought the Wii, I was dead set on NOT allowing video games into my home! I feel like they rot the brain big time! But after learning that with the wii, you are up and moving, I decided that it would not be so bad under certain circumstances! Just a few being...you MUST not sit down at all! I mean it too! That defeats the whole purpose of having it if you are going to sit! Also, if I call out your name and you don't answer me, then your time will be LIMITED! And like Nick did the 1st night we had it, if you do NOT finish your dinner b/c you are that anxious to get back to your game, then it will go back to the store! I'm tough I know but those are my rules and I must follow them myself!

Baby Daddy!

My friend Mama V found this picture and apparently it isn't a real pic of Rob P.'s body but it looks good on him! She has called dibs on him being her baby daddy but I am still allowed to drool on occasion! Words cannot express all the bad thoughts that I have going on in my head right now! For those of you that think I am a sinner for thinking them are hypocrites b/c you all know you have thought them yourself! Maybe not about him but some other hot piece of meat! I have some other hunks on my list that give me the same feelings! :) Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman and of course MY baby daddy!
