Thanksgiving plus 9 kids!

This turkey was soooooo yum!

This year we went to Rock Hill to spend Thanksgiving with Timmy’s family.  Not only was the food amazing, but all of Timmy’s siblings were there which is always fun!  They are all scattered from Florida to Colorado so it was a nice surprise to spend the holiday with them!

I was able to bust my new camera out and play around with it a little bit. I’m not the only one who has a love for Nikon’s and picture taking!  :)

Other than food, we all just hung out and played with the kids. I seriously have some of the cutest nieces and nephews! Just see for yourself…

Preston’s Aunt Dung has a train table that she just puts toys on and then also underneath and well let’s just say he LOVED it!  So now I know what I might get him for Christmas!

After lunch, we celebrated this little lady’s birthday since we all missed it because she doesn’t live here.

And then we opened her presents….after that, I took more pictures of everyone just hanging out…

I had such a wonderful day with family and it reminded me of how thankful I am for my family! At the end of the day, I would be nothing without them! I am so thankful to be a Mom and for the joy that not only Preston but also Ariel and Nicholas have brought into my life! I have grown and learned so much from them! I am last but not least so thankful for Timmy who puts up with me even when I am at my worst! It takes a lot to handle me and does it with such patience and love!

Brotherly Love

It never fails…every time Nicholas goes to watch TV or play the Wii, Preston gets in the way. All weekend, he kept turning the TV off completely!  Poor Nicholas. I normally don’t let Nicholas sit down to play the Wii, but if Preston is downstairs, he will pull on the cord of his controllers so I let him sit. Well Preston has finally figured out how to climb up on the fouton so this is what I saw when I turned around tonight!  Nicholas looks sooo frustrated but i’m proud of him because he just sits there and takes it!  Preston is such a bully!  hehe!

A little pain never hurt anybody!

Today was THE day that we took Ariel to go get her ears pierced! She had them pierced when she was a baby but they ended up closing and she decided she was ready to get them pierced again.  Ariel, her mom Lori and myself took her to Jewelry Warehouse because they pierce the ears at the same time which we knew would be best for her!  She doesn’t deal well with pain…atleast we thought she didn’t but she didn’t even flinch. In fact, the prep was worse than the actual piercing!

Can you see the fear in her face?!!! I thought it was so sweet that she wanted to hold both of our hands! 

Ariel’s exact words when they pulled out the guns…”OH CRAP!”

  Pointing to her pretty little pierced ears!  She didn’t even cry…just said a simple “Ow!” And then smiled!  What a trooper!

I had my friend Christi take our holiday pictures this morning so that we can go ahead and get our Christmas cards made up. I have had my eye on this spot where you can see the Gervais St bridge beautifully in the background so that’s where we went!  Preston was definately acting like your typical 1 year old and giving Christi a hard time but through it all, she got some really good shots!  Now i’m just having a hard time deciding which one, two or even three to use for our cards!!! It’s been awhile…

So my fellow bloggin friend Connie requested to know a little something about her readers so I decided since it’s been awhile since i’ve posted, I would honor her request! 

So this past week…

Saturday was a busy busy day for me…

My first stop was here at the Lace House @ The Governor’s Mansion

to do makeup for Darra Dane’s wedding!

Then I was off to make Kelly beautiful for her big day as well. I was able to get a quick picture of her before I left. Seriously, how cute is she!!!

Once I finished up with her, I went here and worked for 6 hours…

I can’t believe my little brother has grown up so much!  I will miss him but know this is where he is meant to be!

Halloween 2009

Ok…so i’m bad b/c I only have pictures of Preston. We went and walked the block and he started getting fussy so we went home and Timmy continued Trick or Treating with Ariel and Nicholas. When they got home, they were sweating b/c it was humid and atleast 84 degrees outside!  Seriously what is that?! I didn’t have a chance to get pics of them before hand b/c I was busy doing a friends makeup for Halloween so when I finished with her, we ran out the door. They were anxious!  I will try to get some pics of them in their outfits tomorrow!  I’m sure they won’t mind putting them back on for a few shots! Nicholas was “Snake eyes” from GI joe and Ariel was the girl from Flashdance (one of my favs! ) And i’m sure you all can guess what Preston was! And he was loving the lollipops! The first pic he still had the wrapper on…I guess he needed alittle help from mommy!
