I can’t get enough of…

My little man is 20 months...as I type that I wonder where in the heck time as gone! Only 4 more months until we celebrate his 2nd birthday! Seems like we just celebrated his 1st!

I usually write a letter to him about what he's doing but i'm changing it up a bit and writing what my favorite things are about him!

• From the day he was born, I have loved smelling his breath! Yes I said it...and even has he's gotten older and he wakes up with stinky morning breath, it's still one of my favorite things to do!

• For some reason when I get him out the bath and wrap him up in his towel, he is extra sweet. I still hold him like a baby b/c I know that's my only time during the day that I can do this! I always kiss him a million times on his wet little face and he smiles the biggest grin! I look forward to these bonding moments!
• As much as I hate leaving him in the morning to go to work, I wait outside the front door for him to come running and watch me leave. He always waves, blows me a kiss and just stands there smiling at me with his little sweet hand placed on the glass door. Kills me everytime!

• Watching him eat is not as stressful as I thought it would be. Yes I still get anxious by the thought of food on his clothes or all over the floor but when I watch how big he is and how much he has grown, I can't help but smile. He can't stand for food to get all over his hands! This would be why he never dug into his birthday cake! He always holds his hands up in the air and whines until I wipe his hands! Weird seeing as he doesn't care if anything else on his body is dirty!

• His laugh makes me laugh. He gets so goofy when he's tired and he will sometimes just run up to one of us and just start laughing uncontrollably! Seriously so funny!

• His little voice is so sweet. I'm itching for him to talk even more than what he is now b/c of how he sounds when he does.

• The way he pats my back when he hugs me or how it feels when he wraps his little arms around my neck! I sometimes wish we could just stay in those moments forever.
• When he's tired and ready for bed, he points to the room and whines a bit. I take him up there and he goes straight to his pillow, pulls the blankets over him and just cuddles up next to me as he falls asleep. Sometimes he will rub my arm and I love it!

• His attitude. Yes I said it...as much as it gets him in trouble, I have to hold my laughter back. He is soooo determined and strong willed! If he doesn't get his way, he grunts and throws his body on the floor. Sometimes I ignore him which really drives him crazy and lately i've been putting him in time out. He'll get up at first and I will sit him back down. He cries but sits there for his entire minute and then when I tell him that he can get up, he does and then usually comes to give me a hug! Talk about unconditional love!

• Last but not least, his sweet little kisses. He gives them out all the time and they never get old. Sometimes unexpectedly and others when asked and lately he's been adding the "MUAH" sound which is precious!

I have more but this could turn into a novel so I will save the rest for another day.

Preston my sweet boy, Mommy loves you so much and am so thankful to be able to call you my own!

I am just now getting around to posting about some likes at the request of my friend Jaime. So let’s get to it.

 

 

What can I say…I’M A GLEEK! LOVE THIS SHOW!  Tuesday’s have really become special to me. :) You all probably wish that you were a fly on my wall because I dance and sing like a fool! I even have all the CD’s in my car!

The new Kotex commercials are ok BUT this one is HILARIOUS! My favorite part is the blue liquid part!

My ever faithful Neutrogena wipes…I wear A LOT of makeup and one wipe gets rid of EVERYTHING without irritating my skin! I used to use the MAC wipes but they left my skin irritated. And the BEST part is that they are under $5! LOVE!!!!

 

Hoop Earrings! I love the ones pictured above but I love all hoops! Out of all the earrings I have, my hoops get all my love and affection!  My only problem is that I have this really bad habit of losing one so i’m constantly having to buy new ones. Not so bad I guess! :)

 

My camera…well not just my camera but it’s the QUALITY that I like! I’m no professional photographer but when I had Preston, I knew I would be taking his picture a gazillion times a day. My little Sony P&S was pretty good but after awhile I noticed the quality of my pictures were just OK. I saved up my money and decided to get this camera. Not only is it user friendly for the D-SLR impaired but my pictures come out so clear. Needless to say, Money well spent!

My Blackberry…I put off getting one for several years because I swore I didn’t need one. Man am I glad I finally caved! I' m somewhat phone obsessed anyways so I usually want a new phone every 3-4 months but i’m pretty satisfied with this! Everything I need and want is right at my finger tips. Pathetic? Nah...It keeps my so much more organized! I do, however have this urge to get the Iphone but I love this one so much that i’m scared I will hate the other one.  Thoughts???

This HUNK that has recently exploded into overnight stardom from the SATC 2 movie…MAX RYAN! Why in the world are we just now seeing this guy??? I get all flustered just looking at him! That SMILE, those TEETH, that HAIR…

 

Well, that’s it for now…I could go on about my likes but i’ll leave that for another post.
