What have he gotten ourselves into?

We totally broke down by purchasing the Wii for the kids...well for ourselves too! It came with the Wii sports and then we bought the Mariokart and Guitar Hero:World Tour! The kids wanted to play bowling so I was down for that! I knew Timmy's Dinosaur of a TV would be good for something one day! :) Nick was showing me how to bowl for my 1st time and he had some funny things to say! "See Jamie, NOW your bowling! And it's FREE! " Then he told me to "Put my back into it!" I just about did after he made that comment! Literally! So to all my friends out there...Stay tuned b/c we are def gonna have some Guitar Hero parties!

Finally...Free hands!!!!

Preston is now officially holding his own bottle! He started grabbing for it just this weekend but over the past few days, Timmy has been practicing with him and today he decided he was ready to take that next big step! So I am celebrating my free hands! I know I say this alot but I just can't believe how fast he is growing!!!!

American Idol was so bad tonight that it just solidified my reasoning for not watching! The people SUCK! The only one on there worth a crap was that little redheaded 16 year old! And I don't know dude's name but anyone that watched tonight KNOWS who I am talking about when I say..."WHAT THE HECK!" I can't even believe they let him through at his 1st audition! I could barely stomach watching the rest of the show! And then the last guy who is SUPER EMO was somehow compared to EDWARD CULLEN/ROB P.... ARE THEY SERIOUS!!!! YOU DECIDE....

Looks like he might be slowing down some!

Well Preston had his 4 month checkup today and bless his heart had to get his shots! I just hate to see him cry the way he does! His face always looks so sad like why are you guys hurting me! Breaks my heart! He now weighs 17 Ibs and is in the 75 percentile! At 2 months he was in the 95 percentile so I feel confident now that he will be able to wear those shorts I bought him for summer time! He is 26 inches long and in the 90 percentile. Guess he gets his height from his daddy's side of the family! I still can't believe my little man is growing so fast!

Happy 4 months old!

I can't even believe Preston is already 4 months old! Time is flying by! Just this week, he has started to grab his toys and try playing with them! It's so cute to see him having fun! I didn't get it on camera but he even started to laugh...everytime I try to get it on camera, he stops! Drives me crazy!!!! I had him sitting on my bed this morning while I was getting ready so we can run some errands and he leaned over and was holding himself up all by himself! He still tipped over alittle but it's amazing to me that he is starting to try and sit up all on his own! He is growing so fast! I was able to tape him playing with his toys on his bouncy seat! I sure do love my boy!!

We have two baby girls!

Aubrey delivered her babies today at 31 weeks! Baby A (Gracie) weighed in at 3 Ibs 9 oz. and Baby B (Madi) weighed in at 1 Ib 12 oz. The dr's have said that they are doing amazing! They are stable and breathing on their own so let's keep praying that they stay this way! I have not seen them just yet but can't wait! I am confident that they will fight to make it!

Our little Mexican...

So Nicholas LOVES mexican food...really it's just the cheese dip that he's obsessed with. Anyways..his mom emailed me this morning with the funniest story about how she took them to eat at Salsaritas last night and he apparently was not pleased b/c this is what he said..."This is NOT as good as Taco Bell or San Jose, can I have some beenie weenies when we get home?" I wish I could have heard it but I can only imagine how funny he sounded! He's definately a funny kid!

She's the COOLEST 3rd grader I know!

Ariel has jumped on the Twilight Bandwagon thanks to me! I took her to see it with me and ever since that's all she talks about. Joe Jonas no longer exists in her world but Edward Cullen is the love of her life! Her mom emailed me this picture this morning b/c she wanted to wear the new shirt that she got for christmas! Girl is definately working the camera!

Has anyone ever looked at old family photos and wanted to scream out in embarassment?! Well I find that all the pics of me and my family when I was kid do just that to me! I can never figure out what i'm doing but it's always really funny to look at how much of a dork I was! Apparently, i'm an indian!

Easter was always the worst! Aubrey is in her regular beauty pageant pose, Amanda is fascinated with those white gloves and good lord look at my feathered hair! Someone busted out the crimper on Sallie's and Ashley just looks miserable!

Ashley again...miserable! Aubrey trying to act like nothing is going on behind her and me trying to control the situation!

Kiss me, I'm Irishanese!

I know it's early for St. Patricks day wear but Aunt Sallie bought Preston this shirt in 0-3 months and i'm afraid he won't be able to wear it in a month so I promised her I would take a picture of him in it before he out grows it! I tried everything in my power to get him to smile but he just wasn't feeling it!

Timmy's sister Sue came over to give the kids their Valentines. Preston even got one. Here he is with gorgeous Aunt sue! Nick was too busy to get off the computer playing games to come take pics! Oh well!

I LOVE MY MAN!

Even though Valentine's day is tomorrow, Timmy just surprised me by having the kids deliver me roses and balloons at work! It was the sweetest surprise and the perfect way to end the week! He is my best friend and I couldn't ask for a better person in my life! Words cannot express how much I love this man!

M.A.C.- Hello Kitty

So most people know that I am a makeup artist and that I used to work for MAC Cosmetics for 5 years. I quit in May of last year since I was pregnant and couldn't handle 2 jobs anymore. Other than the retail aspect of it, I have missed it terribly! Well this weekend is the launch of their Spring Collection Hello Kitty and the manager just called me asking if I wanted to work it! Are you kidding! Of course! It's sad b/c all of my fellow co-workers have moved on except for Seneca so I don't know any of the people up there now but they already know me! It will be fun to work with them and see what they can do. I'm just ready to go back even for just a day and pimp it out! This gives me a good reason to wear my makeup again! Speaking of makeup, I do alot of freelance now so I will be making a makeup blog soon of my work. So keep your eyes open! And if you ever need me to do your makeup, email me! I would love to put you on my blog!

Apparently boys don't say beautiful....

According to Nicholas. This morning I was taking the kids to school and the moon looked pretty so I said..."Hey guys..doesn't the moon look beautiful?" Nick said...it looks cool not beautiful...only girls say that word! Funny stuff b/c I had no idea! I guess we learn something new everyday!

I have a few pet peeves with Smacking being at the top of that list! Well last night Ariel was smacking in the car and I had to quickly remind her that it's a big fat negative! Well Nick busts out with...."Seriously Ariel...you know that's her NERVE!" I about fell out the front seat! I love that kid!

Preston was blessed today at church and it was such a beautiful event! I am sooo thankful for all my family that could be there and missed the ones that were unable to make it! I especially missed Ariel and Nicholas! They were with their Mom but sick so that's why they weren't there! They were definately missed! I am so proud of Preston...for several reasons...He didn't spit up on his blessing outfit, he didn't blow out on it either and he only cried at the end of the blessing! He has been such a happy boy lately! You can def see that in the pictures! I forgot to get a picture of him by himself in his outfit so I will have to put it back on him and post a new one later! I curse the neighbor kids!!!!

So this is just me rambling...I often feel like I don't have much to say...well I always have something to say it's just that once I get home, I forget everything that was on my mind earlier that day! So...anyways...I was just sitting here posting some new blogs...had the baby monitor right next to me and it started buzzing. Well doesn't sound so weird at first but the thing is, there is no one upstairs. We are all down here hanging out and it just starts buzzing. Call me crazy b/c I know it could easily be radio interference or whatever people call it but it just freaked me out! Anyone that knows me though, knows that I am pretty scared of alot of things! A few of them being... The dark-courtesy of my Grandma Emma for telling me when I was a kid that evil lurked in the darkness! Mirrors- b/c I was tortured by Bloody Mary when I was a kid..which leads me to why I curse the neighbor kids. I have been good about putting BM in the past until they were all over at our house this past weekend playing and one of them scared Nick and had him in tears b/c of BM! So he comes in the house crying asking me if she was real and if it was true! NOW WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO SAY TO THIS? I could easily say.."No honey...not at all" and then go cry myself! hehe...But nah...I'm too grown up for that! So...now.....after all these years of trying to put her in the past...I have resorted back to turning the light on in any room before I go in it that has a mirror! I don't think I helped Nick out much with that! Ghosts, ghost stories and anything that had to do with the dead! I prefer they stay dead and not haunt me or anyone else! If you ever need a buddy to go see a horror movie with you...DON'T call me! So that's it...I was alittle spooked and had to tell someone b/c Timmy laughs at me! :(

Snow pictures...

I know these are late but I just now had time to upload them and post it. Preston saw his 1st snow and the kids had a blast playing on the trampoline in it! Preston only went out for a few minutes and hated it! I don't really blame him. I'm not a fan either. He looked so cute though in his "snow" outfit. I think he looks like the little boy from the movie A Christmas story! Too cute!

He may be small but...

He fits in with the rest of them! Last saturday morning I came down stairs to see this! Looks like Preston had no problem joining his big brother and sis when it comes to watching cartoons! He loves spending time with them and so do they! I tried to get them to all look at me but they were all alittle too intrigued by what was on the TV. I love this so much!

Jessica Simpson,...Fat???? Now while I do agree that this is NOT a figure flattering outfit, this girl is NOT fat! And if this is considered fat, then I am considered "Morbidly Obese!" I am sooo disgusted with the media and what they consider ugly and fat! No wonder you have young girls out there sticking their finger down their throats and starving themselves! Society has such a warped sense of beauty! IT'S JUST SO SAD!!!!!

PRESTON SLEPT FROM 9:00 to 5:45!!!!!!!!!!! Here's where I start singing my praises!!!! I can't even begin to tell you how ecstatic I am about this...really...I even got up a couple times to make sure he was breathing! And here's the kicker...when he woke up, he didn't even CRY! He let me change his diaper AND check his temp b/c he hasn't been feeling so well the past few days without a single "waaahhh!" Can you believe it?!!!! Nope...neither can I but i'm for real! So...let's hope this become routine! Everybody...give him a round of applause! :)

My little Hypochondriac....

I really need a blog just for Ariel's ramblings...she cracks me up with some of the things that come out of her mouth! I told her once that whenever she felt sick, or something bothered her, to please let us know or else we might not know if there is something that isn't normal. Well, that just gave her free reign to tell me everything. I wish I could remember everything she has told me from the beginning but i'm not that good so here are just a few from the past few days.... -Jamie, when I tilt my head back like this and hold it....it hurts! (you don't say! ) -Jamie, the other day at school my eyelashes started to hurt. -Jamie, when I was taking a shower, the hair on my arms looks dark! (Random!) -Jamie, sometimes I yawn with my mouth closed. It feels funny. -Jamie, when daddy puts the eye drops in, it makes me giggle...how come? -Jamie, I think I felt my legs growing when I was in the bed...can I feel a growth spurt b/c it hurt? So...that's all I can remember right now but she is just too funny! I guess I am getting back what I gave out b/c my Mom says I was the same way! ha! I sure do love my Ariel!

Hong Kong Bound....

My Grandma left yesterday to go on a mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 18 months. She has been sent to Hong Kong on a english speaking mission, although I do think she will come back being able to speak some Cantonese. I love my Grandma and I am so thankful for her and the example she is setting for my family. She will be missed but I can't wait to hear from her about all that she will experience over there! This was at the Airport, saying our see you laters...never goodbye! I love you Grandma!!!!
