Windows Live!

I came across a blog today that had pictures posted in the neatest ways and became curious as to what program she was using. Lucky for me, she mentioned at the end of her blog Windows live and how cool it is for posting blogs and pictures directly from their site to your blog. I might just be hooked!

Apparently NOTHING gets in his way!

Larger pictures

So after seeing how my good friend Susana was able to put larger pictures in her posts on her blog, I decided that I really liked that look and wanted to learn myself. It is sooo easy...just upload your pictures onto photobucket and copy & paste the HTML code into the html under your post. Depending on how large you want the picture, you need to make sure that your main wrapper on your blog is large enough to fit it. I still wanted the sidebar on my page so I can only get it so big. But for people that have photography pages, etc. , you can eliminate the entire sidebar if you want and just have one big main wrapper. I love it! Photobucket This is an old picture of Preston but Timmy took it one day with his phone and I thought his facial expression was hilarious!

So irresistable!

All Preston wants to do these days is stand up! He will whine all day unless he is holding on to something and just standing! It's so cute! Here he is standing in his pack-n-play...and if you look real closely and I mean CLOSELY you can start to FINALLY see two white specs where his toofies are coming in!!!! Bless his heart! He has been so fussy the past few days!
I could seriously eat him up!
And this is where I normally find him everyday when I come home from work! He doesn't even play much...an occasional bang on one of the toys but he just stands and looks back and smiles at us b/c he is just so proud of himself! I love it!

Happy 7 months old Preston!!!!

I still can't believe Preston is 7 months today...seems like just yesterday he was turning 5 months! Where is all the time going?! I have pictures that I will post later but we celebrated last night by getting rid of the baby bath and finally letting him take a bath big boy style! Since he can sit up on his own why not right?! Everyday he does something new and i'm constantly amazed by him! The love I feel for him is so intense...I just can't wait to come home at night to hug and kiss on him. He lights up my world! Being a Mommy has turned out to be the BEST thing I ever did! I can't wait to see what the next month has in store for us...I just wish it wouldn't go by so fast! Preston...I love you!!!!!!

Words cannot even express!!!!

I am THRILLED that Kris won on American Idol!!!! I could not stand to watch or hear Adam sing! Don't get me wrong...Adam could sing but to me it was just crap...all that screaming he used to do just annoyed me and let's not get me started on the love affair that he had going on with himself and the camera! I know Adam thought he had it in the bag so I just kept praying that Kris would win! FINALLY AMERICA GOT IT RIGHT!!!!!! Oh and the kids had their 1st run in with KISS and it was a hoot when they 1st saw all that makeup and hair! Ariel looked a bit frightened! I loved it!!!!!!

For my moms!

Just a quick thank you to the beautiful Mom's in my life! My Mom and step-mom have done a bang-up job raising me! Trust me when I say it was NOT easy! Still isn't sometimes! I love them both so very much and have always considered myself lucky for having two special women in my life! So .....HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

My mothers day dinner

Timmy took me to eat Vietnamese b/c that's what I wanted! A good hot bowl of Pho! It was so good!
Of course I couldn't resist taking a pic of Preston with my sunglasses on!
And then we went for a banana split at Rush's! Preston loved it and grunted everytime he felt I was going too slow for his liking! "WHAT YOU LOOKING AT?!"
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL MY MOM'S AND FRIENDS THAT ARE MOM'S!

Hes got SKILLZ!

Look at Preston doing some pull-ups! :)

A busy Saturday

We started this weekend off by driving to Charlotte to take Timmy's mom to eat Dim Sum for Mother's Day. His sister Sue, brother Lam and his friend Brian also came. For those of you who have never heard of it, I have attached the definition...Dim sum (literally meaning "touch heart") is the name for a Chinese cuisine which involves a wide range of light dishes served alongside Chinese tea. It is usually served in the mornings until noon time at Chinese restaurants and at specialty dim sum eateries where typical dishes are available throughout the day. Dishes come in small portions and may include meat, seafood, and vegetables, as well as desserts and fruit. The items are usually served in a small steamer basket or on a small plate. Yum cha (literally "drinking tea") is the term used to describe the entire dining experience, especially in contemporary Cantonese. Some Chinese families like to gather for dim sum on special occasions such as Mother’s Day or Chinese New Year. Also, Chinese parents like to bring their children there Sunday mornings to meet and talk with their grandparents. Some people bring newspapers with them and discuss news with their families.
We only go for special occasions and the food is ALWAYS amazing! I definately recommend it!
I didn't get any picture of the food though. Sorry.

After that, we had 6 hours to kill in Charlotte b/c my friend Candace's little boy was having his very 1st birthday party later that evening. So we decided to head over to Concord Mills and do alittle shopping. We bought the kids some clothes...Ariel some short sleeved shirts b/c we just realized that she has outgrown them all so fast! And then Nicholas and Preston matching outfits for our upcoming beach trip! They are going to look so cute!

We stopped at a little French Crepe place and decided that it just looked too good to pass up!

YUMMY! I LOVE FRENCH CREPES! This was Timmy's 1st time ever having one!

Then we finally headed over to the Party! Preston had his 1st experience with Grass! I know that sounds sad but our backyard is a mess so we never take him out there! He pretty much loved it and thank goodness didn't have any reaction to it! Giving me the "Elvis" lip! I haven't decided yet if he's going to be a basketball player or what. He surprises me everyday! Just the other day he was taking a bath and kicked up his rubber ducky with his foot and caught it with his hand! So he could possibly be a soccer player too! Who knows! Timmy wants him to be the next Tim Tebow! Goo Gators! :)
Not sure what he is looking at but I love this picture!
And now on to the BIRTHDAY BOY! Happy Birthday JJ!!!! Here is Joey Jr. testing out his cake for the 1st time!
Mommy said.."Boy you're going to slow so let me just put the cake up to your face!"
He ended up getting the hang of it! My dear friend Candace and JJ!!!
WARNING: The next few pictures I am in and by the end of the day I looked like death! Me and the boys!
They don't know it yet but they are going to be BEST FRIENDS!!!
Bless the poor girls hearts now b/c these are the two MOST BEAUTIFUL BOYS EVER!!!!
I debated as to whether or not I should put this picture up b/c I just looked awful! BUT, I love my friend and we haven't seen each other in a long time so I kind of had to! I have missed this girl so much! We pretty much talk everyday so it doesn't seem like it has been so long but I was so happy to see her!
Love ya girl! Let's not make it so long next time!

Not crawling but....

He is pulling up!!! Timmy sent me a video the other day on my phone of Preston pulling up! I was shocked...little man is so strong and all over the place! Well, I couldn't figure out how to get that video uploaded onto my computer so I just took another one of him when I got home that night! It's short but so cute! Go Preston!!!

Hes trying!!!!

This past week, Preston has been trying sooo hard to crawl!!! He is just so cute to watch! Here are a few of him in motion.

Lots of catching up to do....

It's been awhile since I posted last so i'm trying to remember everything that has happened over the past 2 weeks. Last weekend, we had a farewell dinner for my cousin who is leaving for Iraq. We went to Macaroni Grill or as Timmy calls it..Macaroni Cheese! Bless his non-english speaking self! :) It was great to see family and eat a good meal!!
I love how we are all smiling but Preston is saying "bottoms up!"
My Aunt Karen and Cousin Rebecca! I love you girl!
Always in our prayers! Come home soon!
