Bumbo

Preston loves his Bumbo...He recently just started being able to sit in it...In fact, when he is fussy, I just put him in that and he calms right down. I turn cartoons on and put him in front of the TV and he is in heaven! I just love seeing him sit in it. He's such a big boy!

I miss my kids...

Ariel and Nick have been with their Mommy the past week and I am so excited that they will be with us this week. I really miss them when they are gone. The house just isn't as fun when they're not around. So hopefully I will be able to get some really cute pics of them this week! Stay tuned....

Lydia Rowland Johnson 1979-2003

6 years ago today my heart was broken in so many ways that I thought not even possible! I lost my best friend in a car accident! Not a day goes by that I don't think about her, or try and hear her voice in my head. Every year it gets easier but still will forever hurt! She was the most loving, giving and compassionate person that I knew. Anyone that knew her was touched by her! She may not be here physically but she is always spiritually and I know that I will see her again and I so look forward to that day! Until then Lydia, I love you and miss you more everyday!

My little man is 3 months! He is really starting to be tons of fun and I can't wait for what's ahead! When he makes this face, it just lights up my world!

Preston's three month pictures

Preston had his 3 month pictures taken this weekend at portrait innovations. He was too funny...I had to make sure he went on a full belly because if not, we would of had some problems. Apparently we wore him out though b/c as soon as they were done, he passed out! I'm proud of him though...he was a trooper!!!

Somebody PLEASE tell me he will slow down!

Ok so when Preston was born, he weighed 7 Ibs 2.8 oz. Now on tuesday he went to the Dr and they weighed him with clothes on and he weighed 15 Ibs 2 oz. He won't even be a full 3 months until wednesday! He was 19 in long at birth and for his 2 month checkup, he was 24 in. The child is so close to 6-9 months close mainly b/c of his length! He's a thick baby but not really fat. All of his percentiles are in the 90's and the Dr said he was perfect but it still worries me that he won't get to wear all those cute 6-9 month shorts I bought him for the summer time!!!! I'm beginning to think he might be super kid or something!!! At times, I swear he is teething which I have friends whose babies started that early so I know it's possible. And he's starting to roll over and constantly trying to go somewhere by pushing his legs up on everything. I know this is all new to me being a new mommy but seriously...He eats about 4-5 oz every 3-4 hours and one Dr said we were feeding him too much while my Dr said he was fine so what gives! He has recently been deemed a perfect candidate for starting him on rice cereal at 3 months b/c he's just not satisfied with what he's been eating! I've also heard that boys in general eat more than girls! Is this true? I've posted 2 pictures of his cousin Morgan holding him to show how much he has grown in 3 months! So my question is this...WILL HE BE ABLE TO WEAR THOSE SHORTS???? Just this week

My Gator babies!!!

So I promised pics of the kids all decked out in their Gator wear so here they are! We had a fun night waiting for the game and of course we let the kids stay up just alittle later but nothing too bad since they had school the next day! I just had to let them atleast watch kick off!!!

I simply could not resist taking Nick's hat and putting it on Preston's head backwards! I told him to give me his best gangsta look but this is all he could put out! :)

I'm so thankful for my mom!

So due to the economy, I had to return to work which meant that I was not able to stay at home with Preston. While this has killed me inside, I couldn't ask for a better person to watch after him while i'm away. When my mom offered to keep him, I was speechless. She works from home so I didn't think she would really be able to handle it but she does great! She calls me alot to keep me updated and sends me lots of pictures throughout the day of my little man. I know that if he were in a daycare, he would not get this type of love and care for that I am grateful! I've had my share of jealousy issues b/c i'm so scared that i'm going to miss out on the important stuff. I don't want to miss a thing in his life but I know he will benefit from being with her so much more than at a daycare! So Thank you MOM! I love you more than you know!!!!

Ariel just adores her Daddy!

I was looking through old pictures and found some really cute ones of Ariel and Timmy. She is definately a daddy's girl. It's amazing the amount of love she has for him. It's so beautiful to watch! I was telling Timmy one day about how he will always be her 1st true love and that whenever she gets married one day that she will expect her husband to be just like him! He welled up with tears! It's so true though! And Ariel is so lucky to have a dad like him.

Finally Game day has Arrived...

And we are PUMPED!!!! My mom took these pictures this morning before I dropped him off for work. I brought two outfits so my mom doesn't have any excuse if he messes one up. Preston is all about his Gators...and later on tonight the kids are gonna be all decked out too! They stayed with their mom last night so I wasn't able to get pictures of them in their gear but TRUST that I will have pictures later on! After all it is Nick that wants and is destined to be the next TIM TEBOW!!!! GOOOOOOOO GATORS!!!!!!

Flo came home for Christmas...

My sister Amanda aka Flo came home for Christmas which was awesome considering that I hadn't seen her in a few years. She had been living in Hawaii for a few years going to BYU and then she and her husband graduated and moved to Arizona to finish up some more school. I didn't know how much I could miss someone until she had been gone for so long! And she was thrilled to finally meet her little nephew! We were able to really spend lots of time together which i'll cherish until I get to see her again. Hopefully that will be sooner than later! I wish I would have taken more pictures with her but I can't remember anything since I became a mommy so my camera was not with me! These are just a few pics that she took from around the house Christmas day.

GATORS!!!!!! The highly anticipated game is only one day away and it's just killing me! I just don't understand why they wait so long for the most important game of the year!!!! I can not wait to see who wins...Of course I am pulling for Florida but i'm not one of these smack talkers when I know that Oklahoma is equally as good but it will definately be a good game! I'm praying that my hot Tebow pulls it out!!! I'm sure he will though!!!!! WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!

While Timmy was playing with Preston, I put my camera on action mode. These were the best ones that came out..the others were alittle blurry. I also filmed a video which I hope to be able to have up soon. I just can't get enough of my precious boy! I am one proud Mommy!

Dinner with Grandma

Timmy's parents own a Chinese Restaurant named Golden Town and we go eat there almost every night. We went tonight and she wanted me to take a picture of the two of them since she didn't have one. Can you tell he loves his Grandma?

How could I resist?....

taking pictures of little man sleeping! He has been fussy the past 2 days and was up every hour last night. His tummy has been bothering him. Finally this afternoon, he fell asleep but it was only in our bed. Apparently everywhere else just wasn't comfortable for him. Needless to say we jumped right in and tried to catch up on some sleep as well! I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am for 3 hours of sleep! When I woke up, he looked so sweet and peaceful. It's hard enough not taking pics of him every second of the day anyways!

I'm on a MISSION....

To lose this baby weight that is! My mom made fun of me for posting a "skinny" picture of myself but I don't have any fat pictures at the moment. I avoid the camera at all times b/c after all this weight I gained, I just can't bear to see myself in the mirror much less in a picture for the world to see! I simply told her that I am using the skinny pics as inspiration and to remind myself how cute I used to be! Don't worry...I WILL LOSE THIS WEIGHT!!!!

They LOVE their little brother!

Ariel and Nick are so proud of their little brother! Ariel is our little helper..She is always willing and ready to do whatever we ask when it comes to Preston. She is learning how to feed him and change his diaper. She mostly just holds him when we need our hands. Nick is the big brother that is pretty much obsessed right now. He has had his fair share of jealousy issues but you can definately tell he loves him. He does try and wake him up right after we have put him down to sleep so we are still having to work on that. He is always talking about how he can't wait to teach Preston how to throw the football. It's so cute how he wants to play with him even though he can't right now. Preston is so lucky to have them to watch over him!
